[job_card.job_description]Prepare and / or review complex individual and business tax returns Oversee work performed by outside contractors Ensure compliance with Oregon and federal tax laws Sign and file returns as an authorized preparer Execute pre-developed tax planning strategies (e.g. entity setup, stock options, retirement tax optimization) Assist with client planning meetings and reports Serve as point of contact for client questions and updates Participate in client meetings alongside firm leadership Provide proactive communication throughout tax season Active CPA license in Oregon (required) 10+ years of experience preparing and reviewing individual and business returns Mastery of tax software (Drake, ProSeries, UltraTax, or similar) Strong understanding of Oregon-specific tax laws and tax filing processes Comfortable managing client communications and explaining tax concepts Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional in a remote environment 1099 Contractor for 20-40 hours per week Experience implementing advanced tax planning strategies
