Summary :

The Scheduler role is responsible for triaging need and booking / scheduling interpreter services across MaineHealth. Monitors procedure room schedules to maximize utilization and efficient patient flow. The Scheduler answers basic information questions about Interpreter & Translation Services and provides general customer support on behalf of the department.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education : A high school diploma is preferred; two to five years of experience in a health care setting is desirable but not required.
• License / Certifications : N / A
• Experience : Experience inInterpreter Services field and medical practices and procedures preferred.
• Additional Skills / Requirements Required : Skill in coordinating schedules with multiple variables required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft windows applications.
• Additional Skills / Requirements Preferred : Familiarity with EMR, Intranet, and other platforms used within a healthcare environment.
