Design Systems Specialist

A company is looking for a Product Designer, Design Systems.

Key Responsibilities

Own and evolve a scalable component library and design token framework, ensuring synchronization between Figma and code

Audit and refactor the current design system to reduce design-engineering drift and establish UI standards

Document and educate on usage guidelines, host workshops, and maintain a transparent backlog of changes

Required Qualifications

Experience designing and shipping themeable, token-driven UI systems

Expertise in accessibility for low vision users and knowledge of WCAG 2.2 standards

Practical experience with hardware constraints and optimizing designs for dim environments

Hands-on experience with Figma Tokens, CSS variables, and Storybook

Strong collaboration skills with engineering and design teams to implement and document reusable components
