Commercial Loan Document Prep Specialist

Supports all financial centers and underwriting groups by preparing loan documentation for new loan granting and loan servicing. Arranges remote printing of documents to the designated site and assists lenders with questions regarding loan origination documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews lender requests for new loan documentation for all Consumer or Commercial Loans offered by FirstBank. Independently determines the appropriate documents for that loan type and accurately inputs required information into the loan software system in compliance with regulations and legal guidelines. Verifies that the approval and terms are correct and checks Flood Certification and Appraisal addresses.
• Ensures documents meet customer and lender requirements for the time frame within which they need to be prepared and delivered for closing. Arranges remote printing of completed documents to the site designated by the lender.
• Revises documents promptly to reflect new information requested by the lender.
• Accepts telephone calls and emails from lenders and any other loan related information the lender may request.
• Prepares UCC Amendments / Continuations and Subordination Agreements.
• Complies with bank policy, laws, and regulations applicable to duties, including completing compliance training, adhering to internal procedures and controls, reporting violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and suspicious customer or account activity.
