Canyon seeks a full-time Director of Communications and Marketing to oversee all aspects of communications, marketing, and the public-facing image of the venue. The position will eventually oversee a small team contributing to this work.

Canyon is an arts venue opening in 2026 on the Lower East Side of NYC, dedicated to the exhibition of time-based media art.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Director, the Director of Communications and Marketing will be responsible for Canyon's public voice. Overseeing a small team of up to 4, this role will be responsible for leading communications, marketing, social media, publications, and ticket sales. As the first staff member in this role, the Director of Communications and Marketing will be integral in developing Canyon's image.

Salary and Benefits :
The expected salary range is $135,000 - 170,000.
This is a full-time position. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; life, AD&D, long-term disability, and short-term disability insurance; a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account; a 401(k) retirement account with a matching contribution; and tuition reimbursement.
