Prior experience working in industries with complex lease and asset structures (automotive, manufacturing, or related industries preferred). Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while also collaborating across teams. Must be based in Charlotte, NC (no relocation or travel coverage available).

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Accounting to support our client in the automotive services industry. The focus will be on addressing current deficiencies in lease accounting and property, plant, and equipment (PP&E) processes, implementing permanent improvements, and ensuring a smooth transition to permanent hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to clean up lease accounting and PP&E deficiencies .
- Propose and implement sustainable process improvements , which may include evaluating and deploying a new lease accounting system .
- Provide hands-on support to stabilize day-to-day accounting operations while driving long-term solutions.
- Partner with leadership and teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and operational efficiency.
- Support the transition to permanent staff hires , ensuring strong knowledge transfer and continuity.
