Warehouse Associate
This role has responsibility for the accurate and compliant handling of inbound and returned pharmaceutical products, ensuring all inbound shipments are received per the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). This will include efficient handling of incoming goods and processed returns, ensuring that all procedures are followed and documented accurately utilizing Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) for real-time inventory control and traceability.
Job Responsibilities :
- Utilizes radio frequency (RF) system and operates fork-lift to unload trucks receive shipments, and put-away inventory.
- Ensure all inbound shipments are unloaded safely, timely, inspected for damages and shortages upon receipt
- Receive inbound shipments, verify product details against packing slips, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Perform quality checks to ensure shipment integrity, proper labeling, and compliance.
- Process returns adhering to company policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Maintain FDA and DEA regulatory compliance by ensuring cleanroom integrity and proper handling of temperature-sensitive and controlled substances
- Ensure all inbound products are correctly put-away to bin location for storage, replenishment and picking functions
- Participate in cycle counts, audits, and ongoing distribution process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Inventory Control and Quality teams to report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
- Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas; includes hands-on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other department and outside waste disposal vendor.
- Follows Glenmark Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
- Assist in other distribution functional areas as necessary
Qualifications :
Education : HS Diploma requiredExperience : 1-3 Years of Distribution ExperienceKnowledge and Skills : WMS (Manhattan) experience preferred Working with Carrier Vendors, MHE Vendors Familiarity with DEA, DSCSA, and cGMP compliance. Experience with RF technology Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in high-volume settings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organizational Skills Time Management Experience in the Pharmaceutical and or Medical Device Industry preferred. Salary Range - $40,000 - 50,000 USD The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits.
