Manager Solutions Design - REMOTE role at Ryder System, Inc.
Responsibilities
Support the growth of Ryder's Supply Chain offerings by helping to win new business.
Demonstrate an understanding of our customers' business.
Design and produce content that illustrates financial value to our customers.
Assist the pursuit team with shaping win plans consistent with our solution design.
Manage the Solutions Design process and hold associated internal and external SMEs accountable to overall project expectations and timelines.
Create content aligned with Ryder's operational & technical capabilities.
Write and deliver a compelling proposal and presentations that influence customer decisions to select Ryder.
Help manage the new business pursuit team and individual opportunities; may manage a subset of pursuit team members or act as an independent team member to lead the pursuit from start to finish through successful transition during startup.
Essential Functions
Project Management – manage cross‑functional teams, create and manage project milestones, schedule and lead team calls, manage deliverables, and maintain effective communication across all team members as the solution develops.
Meet frequently with customers and the cross‑functional bid response team; support technical review presentations and design validation meetings.
Develop proposals – write compelling customer stories that clearly articulate value propositions, Ryder's differentiated value, and the proposed solution; author content and take ownership for developing the final proposal in collaboration with the Sales Lead.
Collaborate with Sales leaders to develop win strategy (e.g., research industry and customer pain points, understand competitive landscape to position Ryder to win, stakeholder analysis).
Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex designs, concepts, and regulations into terms readily understood.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus.
Ability to influence project teams using facts, statistics, and analytics.
Proven experience in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to develop content and presentations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or Journalism.
Five (5) years or more in a similar role coordinating activities across various functional teams and producing proposals and / or presentations to support professional sales organizations.
Experience within a Third Party Logistics (3PL) organization is a plus.
Project Management experience is a plus.

Pay Type : Salaried
Minimum Pay Range : 125,000
Maximum Pay Range : 140,000
