Occupational Therapist (OT/COTA) - Telehealth

About the Caseload
Therapy caseloads predominantly consist of children with developmental disabilities and Autism of varying degrees. Patients include those with:

• Mild to severe challenges
• Verbal and nonverbal abilities
• Significant sensory integration challenges
• Fine & gross motor impairments
• Visual processing disorders
• Motor planning dysfunction
• Impaired ADLs & IADLs
• Inability to self-regulate
• Ages ranging from 18 months to 21 years old

About You
Candidates considered for this position:

• Conduct fun & effective treatment sessions
• Create safe & positive environments conducive to learning & appropriate to the maturity & interest of patients
• Consistently present as reliable
• Maintain punctual schedules
  
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the patient's plan of care in order to conduct treatment consistent with patient goals & objectives
• Collect & document accurate data
  
• Are collaborative with peers
• Establish professional relationships with patients & their family
• Are communicative with supervising OT

Must Haves

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or equivalent within the State of California
• 2+ years of pediatric OT experience
• A reliable computer source to provide telehealth services
• Strong internet connection capable of supporting video conferencing
• Proficient computer skills
