WORK WEEK 7am to 3 : 30pm OT Possible

Position Description (Principal Duties and Responsibilities)

Performs inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process. Conducts dimensional inspection of sub-assemblies or final system assemblies. Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision-making.

• Ability to work with a microscope for an extended period of time.
• Performs incoming and / or manufacturing inspections of mechanical products and / or component parts.
• Ensures that raw materials, in process, and / or finished products or components meet company and FDA standards.
• Works from engineering schematics or blueprints to perform accurate checks and tests.
• Complies with documentation and FDA procedures and policies.
• Works from verbal and / or written directions / instructions.
• Helps to devise and utilize standard and non-standard inspection procedures.
• Contributes to the development of quality systems working instructions.
• Ability to clean and package components, including implants and Instruments.
