In Home Wellcare , a compassionate provider of personalized home care services in Rhode Island, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. We have openings across the state with flexible schedules — Full-Time and Part-Time, Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts available.

Position Overview :

As a CNA at In Home Wellcare , you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals in the comfort of their homes. Ideal candidates will have a valid CNA license in Rhode Island, current CPR certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) training. We value professionals with empathy, patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.

Qualifications :

Current and valid CNA license in Rhode Island

CPR certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills

Ability to follow care plans and work well in a team environment

High school diploma or equivalent

At least one year of recent experience as a CNA

Multilingual abilities (Spanish and English) are a plus

Previous experience working for a home care agency providing Personal Care Aide services

Responsibilities :

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)

Provide personal care, companionship, and emotional support

Remind and assist clients with medication intake and monitor / report any observed side effects under nurse guidance

Support with mobility, transfers, and safety in the home

Collaborate with care team members to ensure the client’s well-being

Important Note on New Regulation :

Due to the new Medicaid regulation on family caregivers (210-RICR-20-05-1) effective June 2023 , services provided by immediate family members may be restricted . In Home Wellcare will review each case to determine eligibility for coverage based on this state policy.

Compensation & Benefits :

$0.76 / hour shift differential for shifts worked between 3 : 00 PM and 7 : 00 AM

$1.56 / hour additional pay for CNAs who hold a valid Behavioral Health certificate from CCRI (Community College of Rhode Island)

Medical benefits available after 90 days of employment and within the annual enrollment period
