Lead Web Designer

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of visually compelling and user-friendly websites from concept to launch.

Analyze user data, heatmaps, and website analytics to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences and increase conversions.

Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality of our web designs.

Mentor a junior designer and provide constructive feedback to help them grow professionally.

Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user experience.

Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.

Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Strong understanding of design systems and experience with creating and maintaining component libraries in Figma.

Solid understanding of HTML and CSS with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.

Experience with responsive design principles and mobile-first approach.

Strong data fluency with the ability to analyze metrics and use data insights to influence design decisions.

Experience working in the SaaS / Software industry is a plus.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
