Role Summary We are seeking a talented and driven Systems Engineer focusing on body controls to join our team. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and validation of body domain systems, ensuring they meet functionality, safety, and compliance requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance the user experience and align with our commitment to innovation and quality. Responsibilities Develop and document scope, requirements, and attributes for vehicle features, vehicle control systems, and internally developed controller components Guide feature-level requirement decomposition and traceability into all respective systems Support feature verification test case definition and ensure traceability to all respective requirements Ensure requirement traceability through the development lifecycle Ensure vehicle quality through functional analysis using hierarchical DFMEA Interface with cross-functional stakeholders Contribute towards functional safety concepts (FuSa) Contribute towards electrical architecture decisions Design system control concepts Compose state, sequence, and/or flow diagrams Support troubleshooting issues found during integration, manufacturing, and service Qualifications Minimum of B.S. in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience with systems design and integration Requirement management tool experience (such as Jama, Polarion, & DOORS) Experience with power electronic validation efforts at different test levels (vehicle, systems, SIL, & HIL) Experience with DFMEA and associated tools (IQRM, Plato) Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment Self-motivated - demonstrated ability to set direction and guide a team towards it Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills Pay Disclosure Salary Range for Palo Alto Applicants: $146,900 to 183,600 USD. The posted salary represents the lowest and highest ranges RV Tech reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position. Any posted salary range pertains only to the estimated starting pay for the role. Actual starting pay is based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, skillset, qualifications, specific competencies, relevant education, and location. Total Rewards Total compensation packages for this position include base salary, eligibility for an annual performance bonus, and eligibility for equity.
