Scope

Responsible for managing product development with emphasis on accelerating the development cycle and transition into production. Successfully deliver results to customers to achieve program delivery meeting performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan project schedules including required resources and implement by deadline
• Communicate with internal / external customers and work with functional areas such as Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to ensure customer needs are addressed and targets are met
• Facilitate the process of ensuring that all customer requests / questions are addressed in a timely manner
• Liaison with suppliers and sub-contractors-ensure delivery of material to meet compressed development cycle (negotiate and issue Purchase Orders on critical items)
• Create / Manage presentations (PDR, CDR, TRR), manage Customer Program deliverables, SDRLS, hardware, reports, etc.
• Manage the transition between Development to Production (Product release, drawings / route sheet release, supplier base, etc.)
