About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of LLM Application to lead a dynamic team of machine learning engineers and researchers in the exploration and application of LLM technologies to enhance various aspects of systematic finance. This leadership role is pivotal in identifying and developing transformative use cases for LLMs, including the automation of research insights and the development of next-generation analytics and signal generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the design and development of LLM-driven tools that empower quantitative researchers and accelerate idea generation, as well as partnering with cross-functional teams to deploy LLM applications that support signal discovery and strategy development.

Applicants for the Head of LLM Application role at the company should have a Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in a relevant STEM field, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in researching or applying large language model technologies. A proven track record of leading technical or research teams in an AI, ML, or quantitative environment is essential, as is a strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, model deployment, and natural language processing. The role requires the ability to act as a thought leader and subject matter expert on advancements in large language models and generative AI, and to provide strategic direction on integrating LLM methodologies into existing research and trading workflows.
