Leader Of Product Market Success In The Public Sector

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Leader of Product Market Success in the Public Sector to drive the growth and success of Cisco's security product offerings for federal, state and local, higher education and K-12 segments. This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing product-focused growth motions to meet business objectives for security in the public sector. The ideal candidate will have a blend of product knowledge, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Product Growth and Sales Alignment :

• Design and implement product growth strategies that support public sector goals to drive new pipeline and influence bookings for the security business.
• Create compelling program designs and related content journeys and program designs to engage target customers in public sector segments.
• Work closely with regional sales teams to ensure alignment on GTM strategies, sales targets, and execution.
• Monitor performance (e.g., pipeline, conversion rates, bookings) to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
• Provide ongoing support and direction to sales teams, ensuring effective execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies for product adoption and growth.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred. 4+ years of experience in product or solutions marketing in public sector or related fields, with at least 1-2 years in a public sector leadership role. Proven success in driving product growth, pipeline generation, and bookings in a regional or global market. Strong understanding of sales processes, product marketing strategies, and go-to-market frameworks. Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, product, marketing). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

Experience in working with agencies and external vendors to execute regional marketing programs. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools. Experience in cybersecurity sector and familiarity with regional market dynamics.
