The Software Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of computer software to implement various internal software packages relating directly to electrical engineering requirements.
Responsibilities
- Handles the developing of complex software in selected languages for Sensata products and / or applications consistently following Sensatas coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes
- Introduces new development of software to control external hardware for automated test equipment and other applicable development
- Handles software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process
- Creates and executes designs for small sets of new functionality as part of a software project
- Handles participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions

Compensation
Base Salary Range : $130,100.00 - $178,860.00

This position requires eligibility to obtain authorization under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and / or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Non-US Persons, as defined in the ITAR and EAR, may not be eligible to obtain authorization.
