Job Description

We are looking for a kind and compassionate Weekend Live-in Caregiver for an elderly man in Beverly Hills. This role reports to the Estate Manager. You will provide assistance with personal care, supervision, companionship, and support to principal. You will need to check up on the principal and provide help if necessary during the weekend. This individual will be living on the property; living accommodations will be provided. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

The schedule will be as follows :

  • Fri : 4 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Sat / Sun : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM & 5 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Mon : 7 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assist with personal care activities of daily living, including but not limited to, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the needs of the individual
  • Assist with morning and bedtime routine, such as getting into and out of the bed
  • Help with physical therapy exercises and massages
  • Help administer medications as needed
  • Run errands with or for the principal
  • May need to prepare and serve meals, as requested
  • Provide companionship and help provide support to principal when necessary
  • Will need to provide support to the principal with their emotional, physical, and health-related issues
  • Helps maintain a clean safe environment by performing general light housekeeping tasks
  • Some domestic and international travel
  • Driving the principal to appointments and events

  • Needs to hold empathy and patience
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to follow instructions
  • Must have good decision making skills
