CTN Engineer, Exempt

Performs Engineering functions related to oil and gas well services. This position may have supervisory authority.

• Analyzes, prepares and oversees the execution of engineering deliverables.
• Creates and maintains project status reports and change orders.
• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates the technical and management aspects of projects.
• Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.
• Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project internal and external clients.
• Assists in the preparation of engineering project proposals and quotes.
• Budgets monitoring and trend tracking.
• Participates in client meetings and resolving client / engineering and management project issues.
• Reviews and approves project client invoices.
• Ensures effective engineering and client communications.
• Helps with overall design and drafting when needed.
• Reviews and approves design information where involved including known engineering discipline.
• Analyzes internal and external customer's needs and use CES / MERC Engineering's tools / resources to provide them with safe and effective recommendations / solutions.
• Trains personnel in the use of new or modified software or equipment.
• Develops and implements new and / or unique solutions to problems presented.
• Assists with the management of both capital expenditure and research & development projects.
• Authors and publishes technical content to internal and external sources.
• Other duties as assigned.
