JOB SUMMARY : In a surgical setting, a material handler plays a crucial role in managing all

supplies and materials so they are available and ready for use during surgical procedures. By fulfilling

these functions, a material handler ensures that the surgical environment is well-prepared, safe, and

efficient, which is critical for the success of surgical procedures and patient outcomes.

Education : High School Graduate or Equivalent

Licenses / Registrations : Valid Massachusetts driver's license (when performing courier / messenger duties)

Experience : Minimum one year experience in receiving or distribution and related procedures, including

familiarity with invoices, purchase orders, bills of lading, freight bills, and other traffic documents.

Experience in a surgical setting preferred.
