About The Position

We are

seeking a highly skilled Locums CVT Surgeon to provide 24-hour call coverage in

Idaho Falls, ID. The surgeon will manage a full spectrum of adult cardiac,

thoracic, and vascular surgical cases, including emergent situations. The ideal

candidate is experienced, confident, and fully capable of independently

performing critical procedures.

Key

Responsibilities :

Provide 24-hour call coverage

from 7 AM to 7 AM

Manage all adult cardiac,

thoracic, and vascular surgical cases

Perform emergent and elective

procedures

Collaborate with surgical,

cardiology, and critical care teams

Consult on inpatient cases as

needed

Required

Surgical Competencies :

Must be able to perform open

heart surgery

Must be able to perform CABG (Coronary

Artery Bypass Grafting)

Must be able to manage aortic

dissections

Must be competent in all adult

cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures

Requirements :

• Active Idaho medical license

DEA and CSR certifications

required

Board Certification by the

American Board of Thoracic Surgery (current and active)

Proven experience covering the

full range of adult CVT surgical cases
