Packaging - Entry Level Role

Position Summary :

Ensure quality product is produced according to customer expectations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

Load empty lids and containers on line.

Open flat corrugated box and place product into case.

Monitor code dates and product appearance.

Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls and safety programs.

Education and Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Skills :

Individual must be able to physically perform tasks required of position.

• Hourly starting rate of $23.68 with opportunities for hourly rate increases and career progression.  Positions on 2nd and 3rd shifts are eligible for a $0.25 / hr shift differential.
