Job Description
Eurofins E&E is an international network of laboratories offering expert and unbiased product safety and approvals services for electrical and electronics products. With accredited laboratories strategically located close to European, American and Asian production hubs, our comprehensive portfolio is available to both industrial and retail clients through a single point of contact.
The individual will work closely with the U.S. Electrical team. Eurofins and its global organization team will be the high level interface. Focus will be on the growth of the NA Cyber security offerings. The SME will function in multi-level expert in our full cyber offering strategy. The candidate must be a self-starter who possesses initiative, excellent communication skills, the ability to lead diverse teams to collaborate effectively, and a proven problem solver.
This position is located in California and could potentially be remote.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to :
- Perform physical pentests and social engineering analysis
- Perform cyber incident response as needed for programs
- Evaluate the impact of new development on the operational security posture of IT systems
- Evaluate, review, and test critical software
- Formulate security compliance requirements for new system features
- Identify and remediate security issues throughout the system
- Audit and assess system security configuration settings using common methodologies and tools
- Work with development teams to enrich team-wide understanding of different types of vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation approaches
- Work closely with System Engineering, Test Engineering, and Integration teams to ensure hardware and software architecture and implementations meet strict security requirements
- Propose, assess, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in security architecture, to include providing advice to Program Managers, Customer technical experts, and internal program teams
Qualifications
Required Qualifications Education / Certification Requirements : Bachelors in Information Technology or related technical field with 12 years of applicable cyber security experience; or Masters with 10 years related experience.
Required Experience
Certifications in one or more of the following areas strongly preferred :GIAC Web Applications Penetration Tester (GWAPT)GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)Certified Web Application Defender (GWEB)Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)Extensive experience developing / implementing integrated security services management processes, such as assessing and auditing network penetration testing, anti-virus planning assistance, risk analysis, and incident responseExtensive experience providing information assurance support for application development that includes system security certifications and project evaluations for firewalls that encompass development, design, and implementationSoftware Development, Data Communications, and Information Security across public and private sectorsExperience with industrial, personnel, physical, and cyber security programsExperience working in cloud and containerizationDemonstrated experience assessing and mitigating risk to networks through the identification of threats and vulnerabilitiesDesired Experience
Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity needs of systems at varied stages of the systems life development cycleExperience working on-site in a government client environmentCloud security implementation experienceFamiliarity and experience with NSA requirements for COMSECFamiliarity with applying system security engineering processes to various client programsDemonstrated ability to work well independently as well as follow detailed instructions for completing tasksDemonstrated ability to drive projects to closure, and to assimilate and correlate project information in a fast-paced environmentExcellent oral and written communication skillsRequired Clearance
