Role Description

The Test Engineering team at Form is responsible for testing, operating, and maintaining our full scale system prototypes. We're looking for an experienced field technician to join our team in Oakland, CA, with as needed support at the Form Factory in Weirton, WV, and help us bring our groundbreaking battery system to life.

What you'll do

• Support installation, commissioning, and operations for Form's fielded battery system prototypes.
• Perform hands on troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems to identify and resolve root causes.
• Conduct wiring and assembly of industrial control, power, and data acquisition circuitry.
• Execute test plans to characterize the performance and functionality of battery systems under the direction of engineers.
• Support Form's first responder program to minimize energized downtime.
• Travel up to 50% to prototype sites within the U.S., with a home base at the Oakland, CA test site.
