Bookkeeper Position
Robert Half is searching for bookkeepers for local ongoing opportunities. As a bookkeeper, some of the main job duties will include :
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Managing bank reconciliation and payroll processing
- Posting journal entries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software or manual systems
- Record financial transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate representation of financial transactions
- Calculate and process employee payroll, including deductions and taxes
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and timely payment to employees
- Prepare basic financial statements, such as income statements and balance sheets
- Generate financial reports for management or external stakeholders
- Assist in the creation and monitoring of budgets
- Track actual expenses against budgeted amounts and report any variances
- Monitor and record business expenses
- Categorize and reconcile credit card statements and receipts
Requirements :
