About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. This role is a key technical and customer-facing position supporting our mobile chemical treatment units at frac sites across the region. The ideal candidate will bring practical field experience, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to solving problems in fast-paced environments.

Youll work closely with customer frac crews, provide operational training, ensure optimal performance of our equipment, and represent ZL Chemicals as a trusted technical partner in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day technical support at frac sites for ZL Chemicals mobile chemical treatment units.
• Build strong relationships with frac crew staff, offering frequent on-site support for equipment operation and maintenance.
• Oversee operational training of customer frac crews at various locations of customer frac crew staff at a number of frac sites.
• Understand all aspects of mobile chemical treatment units to perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions to be accomplished.
• Have an ability to install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in our units such as :
