VSL Civil Construction, a subsidiary of The Structural Group is currently recruiting for a Field Foreman supporting our Concrete Structure Repair Team based out of Fort Worth, Texas. Our projects include, but are not limited to structural concrete repair, post-tensioning repair, protective coatings, waterproofing, corrosion control and structural concrete strengthening.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for:

• Leadership on field projects of various sizes nationwide.
• Working closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other leaders within VSL Civil Construction.
• Overseeing and managing overall project safety and providing leadership to the Company's Safety 24/7 culture.
• Motivating team members to work together to accomplish tasks, schedule and coordinate work activities and assign work to field crew employees on specific projects.
• Ensuring crews are operating all tools and equipment in a safe, proper, and productive manner.
• Providing training and assistance to field managers and crews in the performance of work-related tasks.
• Assisting Project Managers in evaluating various production rates related to the project.
• Completing all essential paperwork in a clear and accurate manner.

Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Prior experience on elevated concrete structures and concrete related work is highly preferred. Relevant experience may include: general concrete repair (demolition, forming, placement), carbon-fiber reinforcement installation, epoxy injection, joint replacement, bonded PT installation & grouting, unbonded PT repair, Rebar/PT installation, hydraulic jacking.
• Ability to travel up to 100%. Weekend trips home are provided every 3 weeks.
• Proven ability to manage complex construction work.
• Demonstrates ability to read, interpret and follow construction drawings and contract specifications. Resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Established dedication to safety and ability to display commitment to our operating principles.
• Experience in schedule and task management.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with the customer, crew, and project teams.
• Intermediate computer skills and construction math skills.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English. Bi-lingual fluency in other languages is beneficial.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass background screenings.
