What You'll Do

  • Deliver and manage advanced respiratory care under medical direction across critical and acute care units
  • Evaluate and adjust therapies based on patient assessments and chart reviews
  • Educate patients on therapy techniques to support recovery and independence
  • Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, oxygen systems, and diagnostic equipment
  • Document all care in the hospital's electronic medical record system
  • Take on leadership responsibilities as needed, including shift oversight when clinical coordinators are unavailable

    • Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Active Connecticut license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • RRT credential (NBRC) required
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
  • Willingness and ability to rotate between day and night shifts (required)
