POSITION DESCRIPTION
We seek strategic-minded and detail-oriented relationship builders and managers to join our team as Program Managers for large Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contracts and task orders for IT program support services in task areas such as IT strategic planning, IT portfolio management, CPIC support, enterprise architecture, data governance, data analytics, dashboarding, organizational / human capital management, training, and program management office support. This role encompasses managing aspects of BPA and Task Order contract execution and management, including quality, team performance, task management, contract finances, staffing, team morale, client satisfaction, contract administration, and business development. Our Program Managers serve as our clients' key point of contact and touchpoint to our corporate operations.
Our IT Program Managers must be capable of managing multiple concurrent Task Orders across numerous agencies. A client-facing role, our IT Program Managers not only need to know how to effectively manage all aspects of our BPA and related Task Orders, but they must also understand and know how to navigate client dynamics, consult / advise, and grow programs from a business development perspective.
Our IT Program Managers must be able to collaborate with clients and stakeholders of all levels to help all parties achieve desired results.
Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- BPA and / or Task Order Contract Management ensure all aspects including service delivery performance, financial performance, staffing, contract compliance, employee morale, and client satisfaction are effectively and proactively managed.
- Staffing ensuring all Task Orders are staffed at the proper levels with the proper skillsets and excellent personnel.
- Financial Management ensure our contract instruments are not over or under-running. Manage contract finances compliantly and with corporate goals in mind.
- Employee Morale & Satisfaction assist and support T. White Parker staff with career planning, professional development guidance, and overall performance improvement. Ensure contract personnel morale and satisfaction are high. Assist the firm in helping to address employee concerns.
- Customer Satisfaction ensure clients are ecstatic about our work and our service.
- Business Development - develop relationships and pathways to identify opportunities to expand services provided to the client and / or within the BPA.
- Stay Smart ensure you and your team stay abreast of industry developments and maintain a command of the expertise required to successfully deliver for the client.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in IT, Business, or related field8 years of related experience leading and managing large scale IT programsAt least 6 years of proven experience managing a programExperience in federal consultingExperience managing multiple Task Orders or projects simultaneouslyExperience managing large teams across multiple different work streamsExecutive-facing presence and communications skillsStrong business and technical writing skillsExcellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving measurable resultsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levelsAbility to effectively collaborate in both a virtual and an in-person environmentSelf-starter, proactive, detail-oriented, organized, quality-focused, and team playerAbility to effectively interface and communicatewith stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteMetropolitan DC, Maryland, & Virginia Area Applicants OnlyU.S. Citizens OnlyAbility to obtain a Public Trust Security ClearanceREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
