As a Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assembly testing fabrication and inspection of products in both standard and non-standard environments. Your role is crucial in maintaining the flow of work and ensuring high-quality output.

What you will do :

Blueprint Reading and Interpretation :

Read interpret and follow blueprints diagrams engineering drawings specifications and bills of materials.

Utilize written instructions to accurately complete assembly tasks.

Tool Operation :

Operate hand tools electrical tools hand cutters measuring equipment and light equipment efficiently and safely.

Inventory Management :

Maintain an organized inventory of products in work stations ensuring all necessary materials are available and accounted for.

Quality Control :

Perform quality checks on work identifying and recording any product defects.

Rework and / or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.

Safety and Cleanliness :

Adhere to quality standards and established safety procedures at all times.

Maintain a clean and safe work area to ensure a productive work environment.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Capable of working in a standing position for up to 8 hours per day.

Technical Proficiency :

Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools.

Attention to Detail :

Keen eye for detail to identify defects and ensure high-quality assembly.

Precision in following engineering specifications and instructions.

Problem-Solving :

Ability to troubleshoot and rework products as needed to meet quality standards.

Physical Stamina :

Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting and standing for extended periods.

Safety Awareness :

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols.

Work Environment :

Qualifications your must have :

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational / technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is $19.56 to $36.69; however Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience education / training and key skills.
