High School Social Science

Highly qualified candidate that will stimulate students intellectual curiosity and growth by delivering creative and engaging high school social sciences lessons. The candidate should also have effective communication skills both verbal and written. The candidate must utilize teaching strategies that reach a variety of learning styles and serve as a valued member of a learning community.

This position may have any of the following courses : Civics Psychology Sociology U.S. History World History. Central also offers AP Psychology and AP U.S. History.

Coaching

Central High School seeks a dedicated and experienced wrestling coach to lead and develop a competitive student-centered wrestling program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sport a commitment to fostering a positive team culture and a dedication to supporting student-athletes academic and athletic growth.

Qualifications

• The ability to communicate well with various types of people handle information appropriately maintain a courteous professional and respectful attitude and integrity in all situations are prerequisites
• Support all school initiatives pertaining to the overall growth and development ofCentral High School student-athletes through high academic and behavioral standards
• Ability to exercise discretion and represent CHS with the utmost professionalism in confidential and sensitive student / family matters
• Maintain compliance with all rules and regulations of the IHSA NFHS and CUSD #4
