About The Job

We seek a Teaching Artist in FIDDLE to begin immediately. Areas of stylistic expertise may include (but need not be limited to) Irish / Scottish, Bluegrass, Old Time, American Roots, etc.

Applicants must be comfortable teaching private students of varied abilities, experience levels, and goals, ranging in age from 10 years to adult.

Ability and experience also teaching beginning classical violin is a plus, but not a requirement.

An undergraduate or graduate degree in performance or music education is strongly preferred, but relevant and equivalent performing or teaching experience will also be given consideration.
