Position Title: Implant CAD/CAM Designer (3Shape)

Location: On-Site – Orange County, California

Salary Range: $30–$45/hour (Hourly, DOE)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Implant Designer to join our implant department. The ideal candidate is a skilled 3Shape designer capable of handling a wide variety of implant-related cases with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implant abutments and crowns using 3Shape (strongly preferred)
• Ensure implant case requirements are accurately executed
• Review doctor prescriptions and clinical case notes
• Communicate technical concerns or suggestions for alternative solutions to the internal customer service team
• Design across a range of implant systems (e.g., Nobel, Straumann, etc.)
• Optional (preferred but not required): All-on-X designs and surgical guides

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of direct experience designing implant cases in 3Shape
• Proven ability to design both abutments and final restorations
• Strong understanding of implant workflows, systems, and case planning
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex cases
• Comfortable working independently at a computer-based station
• Strong communication skills to support internal coordination with customer service

Preferred but Not Required:

• Experience designing All-on-X or full arch restorations
• Knowledge of surgical guide design
• Experience with Exocad
