A company is looking for a Mainframe Systems Engineer to provide senior-level engineering expertise in legacy IRS mainframe environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze mainframe data flows and support data tagging, classification, and protection strategies for legacy systems
Integrate mainframe security with Cybersecurity Information Protection Enhancement and data loss prevention strategies
Support modernization efforts by mapping legacy data, schemas, and lineage as part of enterprise data inventory
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor of science or engineering in computer science or related fields
10+ years of mainframe engineering experience
Experience integrating mainframe systems with cloud and data loss prevention programs
Understanding of IRS legacy systems is preferred
Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without requiring sponsorship
