Own the craft of building, assembling, and restoring molds that run right the first time and every time after. As an Injection Mold Tooling Machinist, you will blend bench skills with machine-room know‑how to deliver production-ready tools.
What You'll Tackle
- Bench / spot aluminum and steel tooling for both prototype and production applications.
- Disassemble and reassemble molds with minimal oversight.
- Assemble molds per tool designs and established procedures.
- Build and repair injection molds to print and standard.
- Conduct required quality checks and document compliance.
- Implement necessary changes and improvements to the tool.
- Perform preventative maintenance, repair work, and modifications on injection molds.
Who You Are
A mechanical problem-solver with strong troubleshooting instincts.Fluent in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.Comfortable performing calculations and moderate analysis to verify fit and function.Background
High school diploma or equivalent.2+ years operating Bridgeports, lathes, radial drills, and surface grinders.Hands-on experience with hand tools preferred.Physical Demands
Work involves walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing.Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.Proficiency Checklist
