Must be 21+ years old and able to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, overnights). Valid driver’s license required. As a Resident Support Specialist , you’ll help make that a reality by creating a positive, trauma-informed environment where youth can heal, grow, and thrive.
What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day supervision and emotional support to residents.
- Foster a safe, stable, and empowering living space.
- Help youth build independent living skills like budgeting, cooking, and personal care.
- Use crisis-intervention and de-escalation skills when needed.
- Facilitate life-skills groups and community activities that promote connection and accountability.
- Maintain accurate daily notes and collaborate with the broader treatment team .
- Drive residents to appointments and community resources.
- Support TGTHR’s mission of ending youth homelessness through compassion, structure, and teamwork.
