Job Description

We’re hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate

for a steel manufacturing company that manufactures and ships large slabs of steel. This full-time position pays $17 / hr and is a great opportunity to get started in the industrial field. No prior warehouse experience is required, but crane operation and steel cutting experience are a plus!

Key Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading steel products

Use pallet jacks and other basic equipment to move materials

Check incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy

Help keep the shipping area clean and organized

Support team with general warehouse tasks

Learn and follow all safety procedures

Opportunity to train on crane operation and basic steel cutting

Preferred Experience (not required)

Crane operation

Steel cutting or handling heavy materials

Previous warehouse or shipping / receiving experience

Requirements

Must be reliable and punctual

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet

Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Strong attention to detail and safety
