About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Urology MD in Durango, Colorado, 81301!

📝 Description :

  • We are seeking two Board-Certified Urologists for locum tenens coverage starting September 8, 2025, with ongoing needs through the end of the year and beyond. Providers must be available for multiple stints and able to cover at least 3 weeks per month. This is an urgent, high-priority role with an immediate need.

📋 Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and emergency room urological care.
  • Perform general urologic surgeries and clinic-based procedures.
  • Participate in on-call coverage (night call and 24-hour call shifts).
  • Collaborate with a clinical team including MA, NP / PA, and RN support.
  • Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation.
  • Participate in EMR training.

    • ⏰ Working Hours :

  • Weekdays (Mon–Fri) : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM onsite, followed by night call 5 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM
  • Weekends (Sat–Sun) : 24-hour call from 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 AM the next day
  • Shift Type : Varied
  • FTE : 0.5

    • Requirements

    🎓 Qualifications :

  • Board Certified in Urology (Board Eligible not accepted)
  • Active Colorado License or IMLC with LOQ in hand
  • Active BLS and DEA (DEA must be active for the full duration of the assignment)
  • Clean malpractice history preferred
  • Clean background check
  • Must be willing to provide availability for all listed date ranges and commit to ongoing coverage
  • Ability to complete EMR training modules and questionnaire as required
