Job Description
Our lab performs unique clinical autoimmune serology services, aiding in the diagnosis of autoimmune disorders of the brain, nerve, and muscle. Our lab employs a variety of testing methodologies, including tissue and transfected cell-based fluorescence microscopy, radio-immunoassays, flow cytometry, western blot, ELISA, and chemiluminescence assays, providing an equal opportunity for automated and manual testing.
Responsibilities

• Perform clinical autoimmune serology tests on serum and spinal fluid.
• Aid in the diagnosis of autoimmune disorders using advanced laboratory techniques.
• Utilize various methodologies such as fluorescence microscopy, radioimmunoassays, flow cytometry, western blot, ELISA, and chemiluminescence assays.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and ensure accurate test results.

Essential Skills

• Laboratory and medical laboratory testing experience.
• Proficiency in instrumentation and troubleshooting.
• Experience in specimen processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a human biological science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Animal Science, Marine Biology, Neuroscience).
• Healthcare experience is a plus.
• Master's degree accepted; PhD or engineering backgrounds are not required.
• OPT candidates are welcome.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
