Matt Bowers Hyundai in Metairie Louisiana is looking for an experienced Lube & Oil Change Technician to join our growing service team. We offer excellent pay strong advancement opportunities and full benefits.
Position Summary
The Automotive Lube Technician is responsible for performing oil changes fluid checks filter replacements and routine maintenance with accuracy and efficiency according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
Essential Duties
Perform scheduled maintenance and lubrication services
Drain and refill engine oil; replace oil and air filters
Inspect and top off all fluid levels
Check tire pressure and inflate to specifications
Lubricate moving parts as required
Document all work performed on repair orders
Maintain a clean work area and keep customer vehicles clean
Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
Report any vehicle defects or issues to management
Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of lube / oil change experience required
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to operate tools and equipment safely
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred
Technical school training a plus
