The successful candidate will provide essential speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12 settings, helping them enhance their communication abilities and address speech and language challenges.
Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech and communication capabilities.Develop tailored therapy plans and objectives based on assessment results.Deliver direct therapy services focused on articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ communication skills in various environments.Utilize evidence-based techniques and engaging activities in therapy sessions.Track student progress and modify therapy plans as necessary for optimal results.Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.Engage in IEP meetings to contribute insights about students’ speech and language requirements.Qualifications :
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Current ESA and ASHA certification required.Genuine passion for working with K-12 students.Experience in school or pediatric therapy settings is preferred.Familiarity with assessment tools and techniques in pediatric speech-language pathology.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of AAC systems and assistive technology (preferred).Benefits :
