Refund Coordinator

A company is looking for a Refund Coordinator-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Audit and coordinate the processing of refunds to patients, insurance companies, and other accounts

Research accounts to update information and validate transfers for proper fund adjudication

Prepare daily and monthly refund reports, including bad debt recovery reports

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred

1-2 years of experience with medical claims denials

1-2 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement or related work

Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and Modifier experience required

Previous Refund and / or Credit Balance experience preferred
