Cost Engineer / Cost Manager
Turner & Townsend Heery specializes in project and program management for public sector organizations. They are looking for a Cost Engineer / Cost Manager to join their team and support construction cost services for clients. The ideal candidate will be driven and promote Turner & Townsend Heery's purpose and values. Responsibilities include : advising clients on strategies, managing prequalification of vendors, assessing proposals, bids, and bid leveling documents, making final recommendations to the client, attending and chairing bid interviews, and managing the appointment process. Additionally, the role involves managing estimating services for full projects, cost reporting, cost control processes, invoicing, benchmarking performance, and final accounting processes. The candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry is required, along with strong communication skills.
