Salary: $20.25/Hour Minimum

Civil Service Title: Office Clerk III

Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER:
(A) Successful completion of at least thirty (30) credit hours from a college or university; OR,
(B) One (1) year paid full-time or its part-time equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience*; OR,
(C) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.

*Experience as a Teller, Cashier or Sales Clerk will not be considered appropriate experience for the purposes of these minimum qualifications.
NOTE: Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S Secretary of Education. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: If you are appointed, you will be required to possess a valid license to operate a vehicle in New York State or otherwise demonstrate your capacity to meet the transportation needs of the position.

Desired Qualifications:
Strong computer knowledge and experience particularly with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Infinite Campus and Frontline;
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and task manage while adhering to both district and state guidelines/timelines;
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, staff, and families;
Strong clerical aptitude, accuracy, neatness, and follow through;
Complete all work with a high degree of quality, efficiency and confidentiality.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision;
Willingness to participate in district provided professional development and training;
Providing clerical support for the 504 Committee and Committee on Special Education;
Setting up and scheduling 504 and CSE meeting;
Managing confidential student information;
Data entry into Frontline IEP Direct;
Copying and filing as needed;
Mailing correspondence;
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
