As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated logistics and distribution areas. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and interact with staff and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

  • Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and drivers with security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site instructions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor and document security-related activities and incidents, maintaining accurate records as required by the site and Allied Universal.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, supporting the overall security-related operations of the logistics and distribution location.
  • Communicate with site personnel, management, and Allied Universal supervisors to report incidents or request assistance as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
