Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Day Shift

Job Description

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will assess, plan, and implement nursing care for residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). You will ensure continuity of care by providing direct patient care, administering medications, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and support staff.

Responsibilities

Assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for residents.
Providing direct patient care and passing medications.
Supervising CNAs and support staff to ensure quality care.
Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
Communicating effectively with patients, staff, and external representatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current California LVN license.

Required long-term care experience.

Proficiency in electronic medical records.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Strong interpersonal skills for professional interaction.

Basic computer skills.

Schedule

This is a day shift position, scheduled from Sunday to Tuesday.
