Program Consultant - Waste Diversion

Location : Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, or Rhode Island

CET is hiring a Program Consultant focusing on Waste Diversion!

In this full-time role, you will work with businesses on generating reduction, reuse, composting, and recycling. As a Program Consultant, you will provide expertise, planning, and assistance to assigned waste diversion programs and initiatives.

Applicants for this position must be located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, or Rhode Island. This position can be fully remote. However, if you are in or near Northampton, Massachusetts, you can also work from our co-working space at the Old School Commons.

In this position, you will :

• Provide waste management technical assistance and program information to customers and prospects over the phone and email.
• Produce written content such as emails, newsletters, reports, web content, and / or presentations.
• Assist with virtual and in-person events, such as planning logistics, hosting virtual meetings, recruiting speakers, collecting registrations, and networking.
• Perform research on alternative outlets for waste materials.
• Enter data into appropriate platforms to track customer interactions and results.
• Generate regular client invoices and reports, compiling metrics and progress towards program deliverables.
• Act as liaison with vendors, partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Occasionally travel throughout MA, CT, and NY to deliver in-person presentations.

This is a full-time position. You may work remotely or from our Northampton, Massachusetts office. CET will provide you with a laptop and other office technology.
