Home Health Aide

The Home Health Aide (HHA) plays a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client’s health or behavior to healthcare professionals and family members.
• Administering basic healthcare tasks, such as medication reminders and recording vital signs as directed.
• Helping clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintaining a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a Home Health Aide training program is Required.
• Prior experience in a home health setting or with similar responsibilities is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in providing care.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to clients’ homes.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
