Job Title : Locum Tenens Dental Hygienist

Job Description :

We are seeking qualified Dental Hygienists for a locum tenens opportunity to provide services in Butner and Yanceyville North Carolina. The position is full-time, with up to 40 hours per week. The work schedule will be Monday-Tuesday in Yanceyville, and Wednesday-Friday in Butner, with work hours from 6 : 30am to 3 : 00pm. There may be some flexibility in the hours.

Dental Hygienists will work under the clinical supervision of the Correctional Dental Director or Designee. Responsibilities include preparing the clinic and operatory, documenting all care and procedures, taking radiographs, providing oral hygiene instructions, performing prophylaxis and polishing, and sterilizing equipment between patients. Additional duties include maintaining patient records, cooperating with staff, and preparing monthly reports.

Qualifications :

• Current licensure in the state of North Carolina
• Strong professional demeanor and chairside manner
• Ability to work well in a correctional facility setting and interact with all staff positively
