The Gold App (TheGoldApp.com) is a mobile-first platform focused on building secure, scalable, and user-friendly digital solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled  Mobile App Developer  with strong  backend experience  to help develop and maintain our cross-platform mobile application.

We are seeking a  contract, remote Mobile App Developer  with proven experience building and deploying mobile applications on  Apple App Store and Google Play Store  using  React Native . This role is backend-leaning, with a strong focus on APIs, data handling, performance, and system integrations, while still being comfortable working within a mobile UI codebase.

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using  React Native
• Lead backend-related mobile development, including :
• API integration and architecture
• Authentication and authorization flows
• Data modeling, storage, and synchronization
• Collaborate with backend services (Node.js, Firebase, AWS, or similar)
• Ensure apps are production-ready and successfully deployed to  Apple App Store  and  Google Play Store
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
• Debug, test, and maintain existing features
• Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Implement best practices for mobile architecture, code quality, and CI / CD pipelines
• 3+ years of experience developing mobile applications
• Strong hands-on experience with  React Native
• Proven experience deploying apps to  iOS and Android app stores
• Strong backend experience (e.g., Node.js, REST / GraphQL APIs, Firebase, AWS, or similar)
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and state management
• Experience with third-party APIs and SDKs
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows
• Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based environment
• Experience with fintech, payments, or security-focused applications
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
• Experience with performance monitoring and analytics tools
• Familiarity with TypeScript
